Configuring a task
Single type task configuration
The 'Task name' column displays the name of the task
The 'Task type' column displays the type of the task, and the 'Delete task' column
provides a link to delete the task. To remove a task click 'Delete' and confirm your
decision by clicking the 'Yes' button on the next screen.
The 'Action' column contains six operations we can execute on the task. These are:
- 'edit task data' which allows to change the basic settings of a task such as the name and description
- 'edit application arguments' that allows to assign values to application arguments
- 'edit application variables' which enables to set some environment variables required by the application
- 'edit std input/output' which enables to show where to read from and write to the standard inputs and outputs for the task
- 'edit task resource requirements' that allows to enter what are the resources required by the task
- 'execution info' which enables to read some information connected with the execution of the task directly from the grid
